3 Reasons To Go To Canada & Alaska, 3 Reasons To Book With Us Now!

So, why would you want to join us in Canada, we could spend all day giving you reasons why you should visit Canada and Alaska. Instead, aided by some fantastic images we will give you the three major reasons you should want to see this area of the world, and why you should want to join us on this unforgettable journey !
1. Wildlife. The Main reason many people visit Canada, is the opportunity to see wildlife, on this voyage during our train journey, our time on coach and on cruise you will have the opportunity to possibly see an amazing array of North American Wildlife. Grizzly Bears, Moose, Deer, Whales, Otters and more. Spending time visiting the pristine wilderness offers numerous viewing possibilities.

2. The Rocky Mountains. This visit travels through some of the most picturesque areas of the World, encompassing Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper, Kamloops and more, the Rocky Mountains present a stunning array of sights. Our trip through the Rockies will take you up to Banff from Vancouver using one of the worlds most incredible railways journeys (The Rocky Mountaineer), then we have you stay at the lakes in the always classic Fairmont properties, before we visit Jasper and return you to Vancouver.

3. The Inside Passage, the Alaskan Frontier. The inside passage is a fantastic area to journey to. The small towns and villages representing the colonisation of one of the worlds last frontiers, you will get a chance to see a world unlike the one you know, the heritage of the local Indian tribes, and the opportunity to see how people live in this rugged wilderness. An inside passage cruise will also give you a taste of the Arctic as you journey to Juneau and Glacier Bay.

Yes, all fantastic reasons to visit Canada and Alaska, why though would you want to book in now, why join us on this tour?
1. Availability. Right now, we still have a number of places available on our departure, we have a limited number of spaces available on our tour, and at this stage we only have 5 cabins/rooms left available, and after that everything is on request.

2. Company. Our upcoming Canada departure will be fully escorted, by a seasoned travel professional with experience travelling in Canada. So not only will you be travelling with others with a deep desire to see the area you are journeying to but in company that will be there to help you with any of the small bothers that may arise during travel.

3. Save. Yes, sadly our main point is about money. By booking NOW during our presale you stand to save yourself a considerable amount of money per person or per couple. What we have been seeing so far indicates prices are likely to rise over a thousand dollars once the new years rates are released, so booking in now will save you a considerable amount.

Classifieds: Seeking a Traveller for Antarctica

One area of this site that hasn’t garnered much attention is our classifieds section. So for a while as we get in requests we will do a quick spotlight here on the front page to try and help with some match-ups for trips outside the groups we are operating.
This week we are going to promote a single lady who is looking for someone to join her on a trip to an absolutely incredible destination – ANTARCTICA. Dates are flexible, but keep in mind that the sailing season is generally Mid-November until February and they do sell out fast so this may be for the 2014/2015 season or the 2015/2016 season depending on what can be arranged and what suits both travellers.
These days most of the cruises south to Antartica depart from South America, either Ushuaia or Punta Arenas and head down to the Antarctic Peninsula. Costs will vary based on the cruise line chosen but will generally price between AU$6,000 and AU$13,000 per person in share twin for the cruise.
Depending on the desires of both Travellers, we would suggest that unless a larger South America Trip is desired you combine this with return airfares on Lan Chile (which will start at around AU$2600 per person) and maybe a night or 2 in Ushuaia/Punta Arenas to ensure you don’t have any problems with boarding and disembarking, and if wanted maybe a stopover in Santiago.
So if you have ever thought about travelling to Antarctica, this may be the opportunity for you – simply give us a call on (02) 4421 5577 or e-mail us an enquiry at daniel@mytravelexpert.com.au

So what are the pre-sale offers? For a limited time we have access to an early offer cost, including fly free deals, and other inclusions. These deals are usually a bit better in price than an early-bird, and by booking and depositing whilst the Pre-sale fares are in, you can guarantee your place at those special rates rather than paying “full price”later on.

Discovering Norfolk Island
When people think of the pacific islands they can visit most have thoughts that run to Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, or further afield at the Cook Islands, Samoa or Tahiti. Few tend to think of our more temperate options – Lord Howe Island, or in this case Norfolk Island.
With year round temperate climate, Norfolk has a vast array of things to offer all kinds of travellers. Its natural beauty and wonders allow one to experience anything from walks along the Bushland trails to Glass Bottom Boat trips over their reefs. The early and fairly dark convict heritage is still evident and a fascinating glimpse into the history of the Island. For art lovers there are galleries, museums and more to explore. For those looking for pampering there are spas and wellness centres to experience. For the sportsman there is fishing, horse riding, golf and more. Then there are also the beaches and the water activities. More than enough to see, admire and enjoy.
This fantastic destination is where we are headed for our first group departure with the Shoalhaven Solo Sisters. This March we depart on a seven-day journey to explore Norfolk Island, while we have included some true highlights in our package – we have also left plenty of free time for those that may want to pursue their own desires, be it an art class, a round of golf, or a stroll along one of the Hiking Trails.
You can find full details of our tour here, and should you want to enquire or find out more details just fill in the form at the bottom of that page. We will be restricting the amount of travellers we take, so it will be on a first in best dressed basis. We will also try to match everyone up with an appropriate partner, or if desired we can offer single supplements.

So if my expounding on the wonders of Norfolk hasn’t whetted your appetite, or the images we have shown .. take a look at the below clip produced by the Norfolk Island Tourist Board, and you will see, we are sure, that Norfolk has something for everyone.
