Day 3     Melbourne, Australia    Arrives 8:00 AM Departs:  6:00 PM
Melbourne, Australia – Uncovering authentic local finds and having experiences that make you feel like you’ve really connected with a place are important elements in ensuring an extraordinary vacation. We’re taking advantage of our partnership with Travel + Leisure to get their editors’ recommendations and insider tips on the places you will want to visit. Here are their picks for just one of the 150 destinations they covered.  Open since 1878, Abbotsford Convent: You’ll find art galleries, restaurants, gardens, a bakery, and even a few bars in this 1861 building that was originally a convent. Try the Shadow Electric Bar, set inside the Industrial School—somehow it feels especially mischievous to grab a cocktail here. Be sure to visit our Shore Excursions page or speak with our onboard Destination Concierge for arrangements to any of these must-sees. National Gallery of Victoria: The oldest museum in Australia—known locally as the NGV—looks like a fortress thanks to its massive bluestone facade. Inside, however, its great hall glitters with the world’s largest stained-glass ceiling, created by artist Leonard French. Along with paintings by great masters such as Monet and Rembrandt, the museum houses a large Australian collection spanning the decorative arts, fashion, sculpture, paintings, and Aboriginal art.

Day 4     At Sea
While spending the day at sea why not take a look at Michael’s Club® This intimate atmosphere features deep, welcoming chairs, perfect for sharing conversation, listening to a live pianist, or savoring a nightcap from our extensive collection of fine whiskeys, scotches, cognacs and bourbons.

Day 5     Adelaide, Australia         Arrives 8:00 AM Departs: 6:00 PM
This easy-going capital of South Australia is your portal to outdoor adventure. Trek the rugged Outback in all its aboriginal glory. Hop over to Kangaroo Island, one of the world’s best places to view wildlife. Then hit the wine trail with glass in hand! Adelaide is in the thick of the country’s finest vineyards. Don’t feel like venturing out? The city center offers a wide array of excitement from architecture and art galleries to gourmet goodies. And if you happen to be in town during one of the many festivals, you don’t want to miss out.

Day 6     Port Lincoln, Australia   Arrives:7:00 AM  Departs: 4:00 PM
Port Lincoln, the “Seafood Capital of Australia” is also a place of scenic beauty. With easy access to both Spencer Gulf and the Great Australian Bight, Port Lincoln is the perfect blue water playground for yachting, scuba diving, shark cage diving and game fishing. Or stay on land and visit local wildlife at Glen Forest Animal Park. The list is endless and the experiences unique.

Day 7     At Sea
While spending the day at sea why not take a look at Fortunes Casino® Light up the night with Lady Luck by your side in Celebrity Century’s world-class casino. With a sophisticated ambiance and captivating sights and sounds, the casino offers exhilaration for experienced high rollers and those trying their luck for the first time.

Day 8     At Sea
While spending the day at sea why not take a look at Martini Bar & Crush® On the totally cool, ice-topped bar, our talented bartenders put on a high-energy show preparing an intriguing menu of classic and contemporary martinis, including the 20-Year Martini in celebration of Celebrity’s 20th Anniversary. Sit back in the contemporary plush high-back chairs while listening to up-tempo tunes and enjoy a collection of classic and rare vodkas and a portfolio of fine caviars.

  1. How do we get to Sydney and return are you running a coach from the Shoalhaven ????

    • G’Day Gail,

Hopefully you have received a response from Julie by now, but basically not everyone travelling always likes to get to a trips start point the same way (airports or cruise ports) and not everyone leaves from the Shoalhaven where we are based, We can offer tickets on Premier Coaches or we can offer those interested Transfers.
