Travelling With Family @ My Travel Expo
Many people don’t think that they can travel with family, they dread the thought of looking after kids as they struggle to sight see and get themselves around, and as a result many people who end up wanting to travel end up putting it off until after their children have grown.
We are here to tell you that waiting for the kids to grow up before enjoying your travel dreams is not necessary!
For those travelling with Kids under 5, or just wanting a relaxing break the easiest option for your travels with family is to do a Cruise or Resort Stay Holidays where the kids can be looked after by the Kids Club while you chill, indulging in the occasional day tour or adventure.
With companies like Sunlover Holidays, NCL Cruises, Qantas Holidays and Princess Cruises there are a world of options out there where you can get away, relax and leave the majority of looking after the kids to the professionals, while you kick back and relax. Though you should recall that most kids clubs need children to be at least 3 years of age.
For those with kids over 5 that is still an option, but there is a world of travelling opportunities out there that are specifically built for families, and will still allow you to get out and see your dream destination – like Peru or Kenya or Vietnam – and bring the kids along on what would be a fantastic journey.

Many options can be prepared to be fully escorted – so you have someone else (usually a guide) to help with the kids ! Or you can mix a self drive adventure with some escorted arrangements.

Exhibitor Exposé: Norwegian Cruise Lines

Appearing for the first time at one of our Expos will be the incredible Norwegian Cruise Lines. For years Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) have been awing passengers in the Mediterranean, Hawaii, the Inside Passage, the Carribbean and more, and in 2016 they will be sailing our way and will hopefully “wow”more than a few people whilst here in Australian waters.
In 2017, for the first time NCL will be bringing the Norwegian Star to Asia and Australian waters with three cruises departures that will tie in Sydney: 21 Days Hong Kong to Sydney Cruise 16th January 2017), 12 Day Sydney to Auckland Cruise (6th February 2017) and
31 Day Sydney to Singapore Cruise (6th February 2017). This is the perfect chance to get aboard the Norwegian Star and get a taste of cruising with NCL.
Why? Well first off if the cruises are popular, NCL may be tempted to bring ships down here on a more regular basis, secondly because NCL is one of the premier lines doing cruises around the world and so this is a great opportunity to preview something you may want to experience in these destinations.
The other reason that NCL should be in your mind is that they present one of the best ways to visit the Hawaiian Islands with their vessel “Pride Of America”which sails round the islands on a yearly basis giving you the opportunity to see the best that all the islands have to offer – without the need to take too many inter island flights, or spend over a month cruising to get to Hawaii and back.

My Travel Expo – Coming 22 September
On the 22nd September 2016, at the Shoalhaven Ex-Serviceman’s Sports Club at Worrigee you can, from 4pm til 7pm visit My Travel Expo! For three hours we will have over 20 industry partners representing dozens of products available for you to meet and talk with about the possible trips you may like to take in the future. There will also be plenty of specials and deals available with the suppliers to take advantage of, and even booking stations available on the day.
This September we will have (to date) APT, Adventureworld, Insight Vacations, Sunlover Holidays, Trafalgar, Uniworld, AAT Kings, G-Adventures, Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, Qantas Holidays, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Globus, South America Tourism Office, Sundowners Overland, Peregrine Tours, Beyond Travel, Back-Roads Touring Co, The Africa Safari Co, Wendy Wu Tours, Princess Cruises, Covermore and all their associated products and programmes.
Over the next month as we lead up to the Travel Expo we will have a number of quick exposés on the suppliers coming down. Some are regular Expo attendees and will have fantastic expo only specials – like APT & Scenic – that will make our letting you know what they have on offer a way to sort out what you may want to talk with them about during the Expo.

A European Evening In Nowra

Encounter Singapore – Limited Spaces Left!
Spanning 101 hectares of reclaimed land in central Singapore, the Gardens by the Bay is part of a strategy by the Government of Singapore to transform Singapore from a “Garden City”to a “City in a Garden”.
