7th February 2016: Round Island Tour
As a way to introduce ourselves to Singapore we set out for a Round Island Tour (including lunch). Gain an interesting insight into the memories and lives of both POWS and civilian internees who survived the Japanese Occupation at the Changi Chapel & Museum. The Changi Chapel is a symbolic replica of the original chapel found in the Changi Prison. Next, proceed to Bright Hill Temple, a famous Chinese ancestral place of worship. Drive past the Johore Battery and view a replicated 15-inch `Monster Gun’, the largest to be installed outside Britain during World War II. Lunch at a local restaurant before your journey northwards to the Kranji War Memorial. Unveiled in 1957, the memorial commemorates over 20,000 men and women who gave their lives for freedom in World War II. Our final stop – Gardens By The Bay. The park, spanning 101 hectares, is a home to over a quarter of a million rare plants.

8th February 2016: Free Day.
Today is free for you to explore some of the sights of Singapore on your own, whether its ambling down the infamous shopping malls of Orchard Road, enjoying the sights of the Botanic Gardens, enjoying the day at Universal Studios, taking in a tasting tour at Tiger Brewery or perhaps even taking a day trip up to Malacca in Malaysia.

9th February 2016: Singapore Wildlife Parks.
Today we take in the best of the Singapore Wildlife Parks. Starting this morning we leave the city behind as we head north to Mandai and visit one of the world’s top and most beautiful zoos. The Singapore Zoo is spread over 28 hectares and is a haven to over 3,600 mammals, birds and reptiles including some rare and endangered species. Natural barriers like streams, rock walls and beautiful landscaping are used to separate the animals from visitors thus creating an ‘open zoo’ effect. Experience this new concept in animal keeping from the comfort of your tram or on foot. This tour includes a ‘Jungle Breakfast’ with special animal appearances such as those by the Orang Utan, the recycling Otter and the magnificent reticulated Python. They will perform amazing stunts as you savour breakfast from a selection of popular items. Following our Zoo “Tour”you can return to the hotel for some R&R, or continue on longer at the Zoo (or another attraction like the Bird Park) and meet up with the group later for the Night Safari – where we will spend our evening! The world’s first Night Safari, set in 40 hectares of secondary jungle, will unfold the mystery and drama of the tropical jungle after dusk with stunning effects. See a myriad of nocturnal animals, from fierce predators to timid forest dwellers, in their natural habitat under subtle moonglow lighting. With priority boarding, you won’t have to wait in line to board the tram which takes you through the East and West Loop. Pass by a large reservoir and weave through selected habitats designed specifically ot replicate the natural environment from the Himalayan Foothills to the Southeast Asian Rainforest and Indian Subcontient. Let the guide take you on a walking trail to view some animals at close quarters. There will also be an opportunity to catch either the Thumbuakar performance of fire-eating skills OR a 20 minute animal extravaganza at the Creatures of the Night show, subject to weather conditions. A buffet meal of local favourites and international cuisine is included, served in a charmingly rustic setting at Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant. Drinks during dinner are not included.
