Itinerary:

17th March 2014: Depart Sydney, Travel to Norfolk
Today we depart from Sydney to Norfolk, flying with Air New Zealand on NZ762, departing Sydney at 0935 and arriving into Norfolk at 1240. Once in Norfolk we will be met on arrival and transferred to our local accommodation.

18th March 2014: Orientation      (B)
Following breakfast this morning we have a small orientation tour in the morning to familiarise everyone with Norfolk Island. As we journey around this morning we will visit historic Kingston, Cascade, Longridge and much more. We will see and hear about famous convict buildings, beautiful beaches, the renown Melanesian Chapel, local government, laws and lifestyle. You will have the opportunity to stop at some of the most scenic spots on the Island during the tour, and enjoy a short rest for morning tea in the garden of one of the most historic homes on the island which was built by Fletcher Quintal, descendant of Bounty Mutineers Fletcher Christian and Matthew Quintal

19th March 2014: Island Fish Fry (B)
Today is yours to get out and explore Norfolk on your own, a chance to perhaps walk along one of the many bushland trails, spend time on the beach, or enjoy the historic townships.

20th March 2014: Free Day (B)
Today is yours to get out and explore Emily bay or take a trip over to Philip Island and explore the fantastic hiking trails.

21st March 2014: Mutiny On The Bounty (B)
Today is yours to get out and explore Norfolk on your own, a chance to perhaps take in snorkelling or spend some time taking in the pristine waters down by one of the many beaches.. This evening though we head out for a special dining experience – the Island Fish Fry! Enjoy a feast of island dishes, salads, homemade bread and fresh fish followed by island desserts and tea or coffee. Watch the sun set from Puppy’s Point on Norfolk’s Beautiful western coastline. A perfect meal to have before we head off to explore the must see – Mutiny On The Bounty Show! Tonight we head out to see descendants of the mutineers bring the story of the famed Mutiny and other historical events dramatically to life in a one and half hour show performed in an outdoor amphitheatre.

22nd March 2014: Convict Heritage  (B/D)
This morning is free to sleep in , explore or recover from last night! This afternoon though we set out for an incredible day discovering the islands convict heritage. We start with an in-depth tour of the historic Georgian settlement of Kingston. Walk through the cemeteries and hear the history of interesting colonial  and convict headstones, hear the stories behind houses along Quality Row, discover the ruins of the New Gaol, see the Pier Store, Boat Shed and Crank Mill.  Afterwards we are off to attend the always enjoyable “Night As A Convict Dinner” . Dress as a convict and join in with the Commandant for an evening of gaiety, feasting, singing and dancing. Great food, great fun and costumes supplied – this regular event is one of the most popular dinner features on Norfolk Island.

23rd March 2014: Free Day (B)
Today is your last chance to get out and explore Norfolk on your own, perhaps visit some of the historic gardens,  or one of the local hobby farms to take in the local produce is on your wish list for the day!

24th March 2014: Departure Norfolk, Return to Sydney (B)
Following breakfast today we have the morning to pack and prepare before we are transferred back to the airport where we say farewell to Norfolk Island, departing at 1350 with Air New Zealand on NZ763, arriving back in Sydney at 1610 where your tour services end.
